Overview

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking a role that offers both professional fulfilment and a balanced lifestyle? This established, bustling, and modern practice boasts a long-standing team renowned for their friendly atmosphere and strong team spirit.

Joining a dedicated team of 6 vets, 8 nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, 7 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager, you'll encounter a diverse array of fascinating medical and surgical cases.

Work in a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house blood machines. These resources ensure you can provide the highest standard of care to your patients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead vet or experienced vet capable of guiding the team. Confidence in handling routine surgical and medical cases is essential.
  • Engage with a variety of clinical cases and participate in specialised surgeries, providing ample opportunities for professional growth.
  • This full-time role includes working 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm), with no sole charge or out-of-hours responsibilities. Flexible shifts and rotations are available to promote a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible to register with the RCVS.
  • The ideal candidate is a lead vet or an experienced vet capable of guiding the team, with confidence in routine surgical and medical cases. Special interests, particularly in exotics, are welcomed and supported.
