Are you an experienced Vet looking for a fresh start in the Scottish Highlands? This independent practice is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of their small, friendly team in Beauly - just a short drive from Inverness.

The practice opened its doors in June 2024 and has quickly grown into a valued part of the local community. Their mission is to provide exceptional, personalised care while fostering strong relationships with clients and their pets. With a calm and welcoming atmosphere, the team takes great pride in delivering high standards of care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for all staff.

Facilities are modern and thoughtfully equipped, featuring digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, an AI Imagyst microscope, in-house lab machines, and a dedicated dental suite. This allows the team to deliver high-quality care across first opinion medicine, diagnostics, and surgery.

The current clinical team consists of 1.5 Vets, a Registered Veterinary Nurse, a VCA, and a Kennel Assistant. The successful applicant will enjoy the support of this collaborative team and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, pursue interests, and grow professionally. Schedule 3 procedures are supported, and nurses are empowered to run their own clinics.

Work-life balance is a priority, and the rota is designed with flexibility in mind. The full-time role averages 37 hours per week, including some weekend and on-call duties, but part-time applicants are also welcomed.

The Rota:

  • Full-time role - average 37 hours per week (Monday-Saturday)
  • Saturday rota: 1 in 3 or 4 (9am-1pm), with on-call from Friday evening through to Monday morning
  • Flexible shifts with plenty of time off
  • 20-minute consultations to allow thorough patient care

The Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 DOE
  • 28 days annual leave + birthday off
  • Variable CPD allowance (including team CPD days)
  • Professional memberships paid (RCVS & VDS)
  • Healthcare
  • Staff discount - wholesale pricing + 50% off procedures/consultations
  • Profit-sharing
  • Relocation assistance
  • Free on-site parking
  • Company social events
