Veterinary Surgeon - FTC
Posted 3 days 7 hours ago by Animal Trust (UK)
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Rhyl clinic on a fixed-term contract of 12-18 months to provide maternity cover.
At Animal Trust, we see a diverse and rewarding caseload, so the successful applicant will be confident handling the majority of routine and emergency surgical cases that present during the day. You will also work closely alongside our junior team members, providing support, guidance, and mentoring as part of our collaborative approach to clinical care.
Our Rhyl clinic, based in North Wales, is exceptionally well equipped, featuring 9 consulting rooms, a dedicated end-of-life room, 4 theatres, a dental suite, X-ray suite, and a diagnostics room.
We also have separate dog and cat wards, ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for our patients. The clinic is supported by a friendly, welcoming team who work collaboratively to deliver high standards of care.
About Animal TrustAnimal Trust stands out from other veterinary services. Firstly, we are a unique Community Interest Company, being the only veterinary CIC in the UK to date. Our primary focus isn't solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term.
Our vision is clear: No pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill. In response, we aim to assist. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need
