Veterinary Surgeon - Surrey

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (D.O.E.)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (open to part-time applicants)

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm), No OOH

The cutting-edge facilities include diagnostic imaging, digital radiography, laparoscopic spay kit, endoscopy, ultrasound, and in-house blood analysis. The fully operational orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery suite offers immense potential for expanding the surgical caseload.

Join a passionate, close-knit team of 4 Vets and 6 nurses, supported by a wonderful team of support staff and PCA's. The practice is within walking distance of amenities including a spa, gym, coffee shop, grocery store, and a beautiful park, promoting a great work/life balance ethos.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to high standards of patient care in a purpose-built clinic with 24/7 inpatient emergency care capability.
  • Provide general surgical and medical care as part of a collaborative veterinary team.
  • Utilise the clinic's advanced facilities (diagnostic imaging, digital radiography, laparoscopic spay kit, endoscopy, ultrasound, in-house blood analysis) to support patient management.
  • Support a patient-centric approach with a focus on continuity of care and effective case management.
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to deliver comprehensive veterinary services.
Qualifications
  • Completion of Vet GDP is essential, along with RCVS registration.
  • Confident and experienced in both general surgery and medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills, friendly and empathetic approach.
