The Vet Officeis working in partnership with a well-established small animal practice in the Mapperley area of Nottinghamshire, seeking aVeterinary Surgeonto join their expanding, fast-paced, and highly supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident vet who enjoys avaried caseload, high clinical standards, and working within a genuinelyteam-focused environment.

About the Practice

The practice is proud to be aGold Cat Friendly Clinicand anRCVS-accredited Training Practice, with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.

Ideally located close to thePeak Districtand Nottingham city centre, the practice offers bright, spacious, and modern facilities, including:

  • In-house laboratory

  • Digital and dental X-ray

  • Separate wards for dogs, cats, and rabbits

  • Laparoscopy equipment (regular laparoscopic spays and cystoscopy)

The veterinary team consists of5 experienced vets, many of whom hold or are working towards certificates (includingExotics, Surgery, Imaging, and Dentistry). This creates an excellent learning environment with exposure to a wide and interesting caseload.

The vets are supported by a strong team of5 RVNsand7 experienced receptionists, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a positive workplace culture.

The Role
  • Full-time position:40 hours per week

  • 1 in 5 weekend rota

    • Saturday: 9:00-16:30

    • Sunday: 10:00-15:30

  • No out-of-hours work
