Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time and part-time applicants welcome (35+ hrs)
Hours: 40 hours per week, 1:10 full weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and 1:5 Saturdays, with time back in lieu

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon in Birmingham!

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join an exceptional 16-vet team, a team that includes 7 certificate holders (with specialisms in cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and both soft tissue & orthopaedic surgery) plus 6 more currently undertaking certificate studies. This is a place where knowledge is shared, skills are nurtured, and excellence in patient care is a shared goal.

About the Role

Based primarily at the main hospital in Birmingham, with occasional work at local branch practices (all within 30 minutes of Birmingham city centre) Work alongside a highly experienced nursing and PCA team, including dedicated overnight nursing staff Dedicated night team covering all out-of-hours work Last weekday appointment at 6:30pm, with weekend work shared fairly on a rota basis Opportunities to take on a varied caseload and progress your skills with access to referral-level cases
