Registered Veterinary Nurse - Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE Full or Part Time Advanced Facilities

Hours & Rota
  • Full-time (40 hours) or part-time considered
  • 1 in 4 weekends: 1 night on call rota
    • Saturday: 08:30 - 16:30
    • Sunday: 09:30 - 12:30
  • Bank holidays shared fairly across the team

The Opportunity

This is an excellent role for a proactive and motivated nurse seeking a varied caseload, hands on clinical exposure, and the chance to work in a practice delivering complete patient care under one roof.

The practice is built on a balance of modern veterinary medicine and traditional values, providing both routine and advanced care to a loyal and growing client base.

The Role

This is a full time (40 hours) or part time position, offering exposure to a wide range of medical, surgical, and emergency cases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high quality inpatient and outpatient nursing care
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
  • Assisting with advanced diagnostics and imaging
  • Supporting emergency and out of hours care
  • Utilising Schedule 3 skills and contributing to clinical decision making
  • Providing excellent client communication and continuity of care
Clinical Environment & Facilities

You will work in a fully equipped, purpose built practice offering complete in house care, including:

  • 24/7 on site emergency and out of hours service
  • Digital radiography and advanced diagnostic imaging
  • Ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy (keyhole surgery)
  • Orthopaedic surgery via visiting specialists
  • Bespoke anaesthesia tailored to each patient
  • Dental suite with surgical capability
  • Extensive in house laboratory for rapid diagnostics

The practice offers a full spectrum of services, from preventative healthcare through to advanced surgical procedures, meaning you will gain excellent clinical exposure without the need for external referrals.
