Overview

Veterinary General Practitioner (Hospitalist) at Fitzpatrick Referrals, located at Halfway Lane, Eashing, Godalming, Surrey GU7 2QQ, GB. We seek highly motivated MRCVS veterinary professionals to join our team as permanent members in a dynamic role, supporting the overall function and high standards of patient care in our referral hospital.

Responsibilities

• Admit and manage referred cases
• Perform diagnostic evaluations
• Supervise daily care and coordination of care for hospitalised patients

Qualifications and skills

• Well-rounded general practitioner with an interest in ECC and medicine
• Expertise in pain management, anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, as well as surgical assistance
• Previous completion of a surgical and/or rotational internship would be ideal but not essential

Facilities

7 theatres, 3 x-rays, 1.5T MRI, 160-slice CT, an experienced radiography team, advanced custom implant design and manufacturing service, and on-site physiotherapists and hydrotherapists.

Requirements

• Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
• Existing right to work in the UK or eligibility to obtain the right to work in the UK
• We are able to offer sponsorship for Skilled Worker visas for eligible candidates
