Are you an experienced Small Animal Vet looking to join a passionate, supportive, and award-winning team in beautiful Northumberland?

This practice is a long-standing, independent, family-owned veterinary group with three thriving practices across the region. For over 20 years, they have delivered expert, bespoke care to pets (and occasionally chickens, owls, and even wallabies!)-earning the trust of their clients and multiple industry accolades along the way.

Due to a valued Veterinary Surgeon leaving in September, they are looking for a dedicated, confident, and experienced vet to join their close-knit team.

o Weekly visiting specialist for ultrasound and endoscopy Fantastic Team: Six vets (including certificate holders in medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry) supported by nine RVNs and admin staff The Role:

  • Full-time preferred (4 days/week): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am-6pm
  • Weekends 1 in 5 Saturday mornings (Nurse support)
  • On-Call: 1 night per week (6pm-10pm), one weekend in five, 7am to 10pm with a generous out-of-hours bonus
  • Location: Across all 3 practices - vehicle required

This role includes a mix of consults and surgeries. Sole charge is expected at times, so confidence in your clinical skills is essential (nurse support is always available, with external vet advice if needed).
