Vehicle Technician/Diagnostic Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Salary Dependant on Experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical/Diagnostic issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time taken.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or similar role is a must.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
A relevant qualification in automotive engineering or a related field is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
