This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising both power and hand tools to assemble, repair, and troubleshoot equipment. A commitment to customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with clients to ensure their needs are met effectively.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
Utilise mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
Assemble components and systems according to schematics and specifications.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
Conduct equipment repairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Weld components as necessary to complete repairs or modifications.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair tasks.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job duties.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
