Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

Full job description for senior vehicle technician

£50,000 a year.

Plus company vehicle and fuel allowance

Maghull garages is an independent business looking to recruit an experienced mechanic in all aspects of mechanical work to become our senior head technician. We run a customer based workshop also offering MOTs, alongside a fast growing car and van dealership.

The role, day to day jobs will includes:

Engine servicing

Preparing vehicles for MOT's

Repairs such as suspension, tyres, exhausts, brakes etc

Both timing belts and wetbelts

Diagnostics

Pre delivery inspections for sales vehicles

Requirements for the role:

Minimum of 4 years hands on experience in all of the jobs stated above

Knowledge of different vehicles

Driving licence

Ability to work alone but also alongside other technicians

The enthusiasm of wanting to learn more about different vehicles as the motoring world is continuously changing

Monday - Friday 8.30 - 17.30

We work to quality rather than quantity, no daily targets to meet or pressured working time scales.
