Salary: £17.28 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a fast-growing vehicle sales company based in Birmingham, specialising in used vehicles are looking to expand our Bodyshop team with a skilled and motivated Vehicle Prepper.

The Role

As a Vehicle Prepper, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are professionally prepared for painting and final presentation. Working within our busy Bodyshop, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of workmanship to support our vehicle refurbishment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Repairing minor body damage and imperfections
• Ensuring all surfaces are properly cleaned and ready for spraying
• Working closely with panel beaters and paint sprayers to meet deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar Vehicle Prepper or Bodyshop role
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence required
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
• Must be aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
• Must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
