Are you an experienced automotive engineer with a passion for vehicle integration and exterior body development?An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious automotive manufacturer, supporting the development and delivery of next-generation luxury vehicles. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge vehicle programmes from concept through to production, collaborating with specialist engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
As a Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and integration of exterior vehicle systems, ensuring engineering solutions meet quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements.
Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you'll support the successful delivery of vehicle programmes by coordinating activities across multiple disciplines and contributing to the resolution of complex engineering challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting vehicle integration and exterior body development activities.
- Utilising CAD tools for engineering analysis and problem investigation.
- Working within cross-functional project teams to deliver programme objectives.
- Applying structured problem-solving methodologies to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Supporting vehicle build, validation and launch activities.
- Ensuring engineering solutions align with design, manufacturing and quality requirements.

To be successful, you will ideally possess:Essential
- Bachelor's Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering, or a Level 6 Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Experience within the automotive industry, particularly vehicle integration or exterior body development.
- Experience using CAD tools for vehicle analysis.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle engineering principles and design concepts.
- Experience applying structured problem-solving and quality tools.
- Experience working within cross-functional project teams.
Desirable
- Knowledge of vehicle launch and change management activities.
- Experience supporting vehicle build activities.
- Understanding of automotive manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Experience working within OEM vehicle development environments.
