Vehicle Accessory Fitter

Position

We are currently seeking casual and full-time staff for a motoring enthusiast to fit (or strip) a range of accessories and equipment in our client's cars. Ideally suited to someone who is either mechanically or electrically minded and has experience working on machinery or technical devices. These positions are based at our Netley workshop in South Australia. If you are willing and eager to learn, we have the means to provide training and support to enable your success!

What you will do

• Vehicle fitment (or removal) of accessories and equipment
• Installation of radios, lights and sirens
• Addition of electronic parts
• Inspection and survey of vehicles for quality finish
• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Ensure that good housekeeping practices are observed
• Ensure that vehicles are parked in compliance with customer needs

What you will bring

• Must have a manual driver's license
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Auto electrical experience is highly regarded
• Understand working of automotive parts and components
• Able to lift/handle automotive parts (sports bars, bumper bars etc)
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A team player, open to change, with good communication skills
• Able to pass Police clearance

Nice to have

• Experience in vehicle accessory fitments beneficial
