VCF Architect

SC Cleared VCF Consultant/Architect - 6 months+ - Remote UK (with occasional travel to client sites)

Looking for an experienced SC Cleared VCF Consultant/Solutions Architect to lead the design, delivery and optimisation of enterprise hybrid cloud and software-defined data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud VCF architectures across compute, storage, networking and life cycle management

• Lead platform deployments, upgrades and migration programmes of VCF and associated VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX and Aria suite)

• Assess existing environments and produce detailed design documentation and implementation plans

• Provide technical leadership across transformation initiatives, including automation and cloud integration

• Troubleshoot and optimise platform performance, resilience and reliability

• Advise on operational best practice, roadmap planning and life cycle strategy

• Support solution shaping and technical input during pre-sales engagements

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience delivering enterprise-grade hybrid cloud or SDDC environments

• Deep knowledge of virtualisation, software-defined storage and network virtualisation technologies

• Experience with infrastructure automation and life cycle management tooling

• Proven track record designing large-scale, secure cloud platforms

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting capability

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
