This is a * Cheshire. based Hybrid role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Life Science brand working on *VAT reporting compliance across multiple markets, ensuring deadlines are met, and advising on VAT-related queries*.

About the Role
Our client is looking for a VAT Accountant to join their European Tax COE team. You'll be responsible for VAT reporting compliance across multiple markets, ensuring deadlines are met, and advising on VAT-related queries. The role also involves staying up to date with VAT legislation and acting as an internal consultant for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT and indirect tax returns (monthly, quarterly, annual).

• Manage VAT submissions, reconciliations, and payment requests.

• Support VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities.

• Monitor VAT legislation and advise on compliance impacts.

• Assist with VAT systems, codes, and process improvements.

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years' VAT compliance experience in a multinational environment.

• Strong Excel skills; SAP/Oracle experience a plus.

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.

• Organised, analytical, and able to work independently.
