van, lorry & plant mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Van, Lorry and Plant Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vehicle and plant maintenance to work with a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on vans, lorries, and plant machinery Performing routine maintenance and servicing Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards Keeping accurate service and maintenance records Responding to breakdowns (if applicable - e.g., mobile mechanic) Working both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

Proven experience working on vans, HGVs, and plant machinery Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
