Van Delivery Driver

Overview

With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections of wheelie bins to various addresses across the South West including the removal of waste and recycling.
• Daily walk round check of delivery vehicle.
• Be adaptable and work as a wheelie been loader on one of the RCV lorries alongside a driver.
• Responsibility for delivering and removing of wheelie bins.
• You are required to be fully aware of the Highway Code and to abide by it at all times.
• Deliver/collect goods as instructed by your manager.
• You must remain polite and courteous to customers at all times.
• Abide by company health and safety protocol and all times.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience of driving vans and a reasonable geographical knowledge of the area.
