Location Overview:

The Team:
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Valuation Specialist within the Global Valuation Group at Bank of America. You will support valuation and independent price verification for Global Banking and Markets, focusing on Interest Rates Derivatives, both Vanilla and Exotics.
Responsibilities:
- Create, enhance, and document valuation methodologies.
- Improve market data calibration methods and participate in model control frameworks.
- Investigate valuation issues and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
- Produce valuation updates and collaborate to enforce valuation controls.
- Engage in model reviews and calibration, leveraging quantitative skills and understanding of Interest Rates Derivatives pricing and risk management.
- Communicate complex issues clearly to senior finance, risk, trading stakeholders, and regulators.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of financial markets and products, with deep quantitative expertise.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in large, complex financial institutions with valuation control, risk management, or model development, especially in Vanilla and Exotics Interest Rates Derivatives.
- Proven leadership in supporting and developing quantitative teams.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex issues simply.
- Programming skills for automation and development.
- Experience collaborating across functions and with regulators.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Experience across multiple products is advantageous, with deep expertise in specific areas acceptable.
