Validation Engineer

Job Title: Validation Engineer.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25K - £45K + Training + Benefits

Our client is a longstanding Clean Air / Validation company who are now seeking to take on a hardworking and experienced Validation Engineer. You will be covering contracts across Reading and the surrounding areas. You will be confident in carrying out testing on critical ventilation systems, auditing on AHUs and re-balancing air flows across Healthcare, Government, Pharmaceutical and Containment Facility sites. • Will hold the P601 qualification and relevant East Wood Park (AP/CP) training.
• Will have experience working for an established Clean Air / Validation company.
• Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of relevant HTM031 guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

• Undertaking testing on critical ventilation systems on a mixed portfolio of sites, ensuring to validate and verify the systems in line with relevant industry regulations.
• Undertaking air flow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling and environmental measurements.
• Carrying out audits on air handling units (AHUs).
• Correctly re-balancing air flows.
• Carrying out DOP and HEPA filter testing.
• Undertaking maintenance of instruments and equipment, including arranging repairs and re-calibrations when required.
• Gathering information on site and producing detailed reports.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
