Validation Engineer - Luxury cars

As the V&V Engineer with a luxury vehicle manufacturer you will contribute to the coordination and delivery of dynamic and static vehicle validation events. This challenging role requires an engineer experienced in system testing, validation / verification engineering. You must be comfortable and competent in driving pre-production vehicles, including leading convoys and executing structured test drives. A UK driving licence is essential, advanced driving qualifications (e.g., IAM, RoSPA) desirable.

Attractive hourly rate (can be outside IR35)

35 hour week - hybrid working - onsite when required (2/3 days per week)

Your key responsibilities include:

Develop and manage detailed event itineraries and drive plans in collaboration with the technical team.

Lead vehicle assessments during events, including driving lead vehicles and identifying customer-relevant concerns.

Coordinate and deliver vehicle preparation, concern reporting, tracking, and validation of fixes in future assessments.

Your profile:

Proven experience in system testing, validation / verification engineering, with knowledge of at least one key automotive system - powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment

Hands-on experience with dynamic and static vehicle testing, including familiarity with proving grounds, road routes and test protocols.

Familiarity with data logging tools, CAN analysis (e.g., using Vector tools or similar) and basic diagnostics

UK driving license - comfortable and competent in driving pre-production vehicles, including leading convoys and executing structured test drives. Advanced driving qualifications (e.g., IAM, RoSPA) desirable

Experience with tools for itinerary creation, route planning, and event scheduling (e.g., Excel, JIRA, or bespoke tools).

Ability to travel internationally & in the UK
