As Vaccine R&D Operations Planner within our Operations planner team, you'll be responsible for de veloping and ma naging the CMC Operational level plan in the Planning tool, as well as the associated resources needed to deliver project objective.

Main responsibilities:

  • Facilitate in monthly update meeting with CMC sub-teams of the projects they are managing.
  • Ensure the development and control of integrated project CMC schedules at a higher level through proactive definition of functional deliverables with functional project team members.
  • Develop, manage and update the planning in the planning tool for CMC activities, meaning process development, clinical batches manufacturing and analytical testing.
  • Proactively anticipate constraints ensuring business continuity, escalate issues or delays / problems to the Resource Management officers and CMC Functional sub-team as appropriate for resolution.
  • Creation and update of CMC activities and FTEs in RDPM for projects in charge that could belong to any portfolio (New Vaccines, New Technology Projects, Post-Licensure Commitment projects) for full scope of each project (i.e ensure cost to launch scope is covered) in partnership with CMC functional team members and Resource Management officers. Monitor and update activities Progress with CMC functional sub-team. Ensure the resource plan aligns with the operational strategy for vaccine projects.
  • Ensure data quality in planning tool on activities and resources in partnership with functional PM, Resource Management Officers and Project Planning Manager.
  • Support continuous improvement of New Vaccines Template for mRNA and non mRNA projects with Resource Management Officers from each function and of metrics used to estimate standard activities in partnership with Resource Management Officers at function and global levels.
  • Act as the "super user" of the resource management tool, manage process, tool and support all users/clients and ensure consistency, robustness and optimization. Conduct training, education, and refresher sessions as needed for new operational and resource planners.
About you
  • Experience:

    • Must have prior planning experience and formal training that is demonstrated through previous employment,

    • Requires strong prior experience applicable to Project Planning,

    • Previous work in vaccines industry and/or CMC activities would be of value.

  • Soft skills:

    • Commit to customers,

    • Cooperate transversally,

    • Negotiation skills,

    • Ability to challenge the status quo and proactively propose changes,

    • Pedagogy for the super user,

    • Ability to coordinate activities and work remotely.

  • Technical skills:

    • Resource Management,

    • Planning,

    • Planisware,

    • Knowledge on activities performed by the function they take care of (CMC / Clinical / Research),

    • Vaccines Development life cycle.

  • Education: Relevant University degree in science or related discipline.

  • Languages:

    • English (verbal and written communication) fluency,

    • Proficiency in French would be a plus.
