UX/UI/Mendix engineer - Eindhoven - 6 months contract

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a Mendix/UX/UI engineer for our client based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands

Job Purpose

You are responsible for designing intuitive and consistent user interfaces for Mendix applications. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and developers to translate user needs into effective digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research (contextual interviews, task analyses).
• Translate insights into personas, user journeys, wireframes, and mockups.
• Design and validate UI/UX solutions through usability testing (local, remote, moderated, and unmoderated).
• Collaborate in an Agile team with Mendix developers, scrum master, and product owner.
• Apply and contribute to the company' design guidelines.
• Define and monitor a user-centered design process within projects.
• Report on UX metrics and application usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/University degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
• Experience with Mendix and low-code platforms.
• Knowledge of tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Axure.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
