UX Designer

My client is looking for an experienced UX designer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype end-to-end user journeys and interfaces.
• Apply and evolve our design system across the portal.
• Conduct user research and testing to validate ideas and improve usability.
• Work with developers to ensure high-quality implementation and accessibility.
• Take ownership of UX best practices, documentation, and design process.

Skills & experience

• Strong background in UX, Interaction, or Product Design for web applications.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, or Adobe XD.
• Experience designing for responsive web apps, ideally in a React environment.
• Excellent prototyping and layout skills with clear communication of design intent.
• Comfortable working from scratch and balancing technical constraints with user needs.
• Collaborative mindset and understanding of accessibility principles.

This role will require you to be on site 2 days a week in their Guildford office
