We're looking for an experienced User Researcher to join our clients team and help shape meaningful, user-centred services across the public sector.

In this role, you'll plan and conduct high-quality user research that drives decision-making and improves digital services for citizens. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring insights are translated into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead user research activities across the full project life cycle
• Conduct interviews, usability testing, surveys, workshops and contextual research
• Analyse findings and communicate insights in a clear, compelling way
• Champion user needs and support the design of accessible, inclusive services
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, developers and stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of research practices and standards

About You

• Proven experience as a User Researcher within the UK public sector
• Strong understanding of GDS principles, service standards and accessibility requirements
• Skilled in qualitative and quantitative methods
• Confident engaging with a diverse range of users and stakeholders
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team
