User Experience Data Analyst

• Independently scope and execute product-data analyses for defined business problems
• Craft clear, actionable insights aligned with project goals
• Set up and maintain product analytics tooling using Heap and ContentSquare
• Define events and maintain an accurate tracking taxonomy as the product changes
• Serve as the first point of contact for analytics requests from product and business teams
• Clarify, scope, and present findings and methodology to technical and non-technical audiences
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports
• Validate analyses against known baselines and investigate discrepancies to their root cause
• Document metric definitions for consistent interpretation
• Review and sanity-check AI-generated SQL, metric calculations, and natural-language answers
• Seek mentorship and training and contribute to analytical best practices, especially AI in analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical role
• Ability to independently execute end-to-end analysis within a SaaS environment
• Experience building dashboards and reports in a visualization tool
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets in a cloud data warehouse
• Snowflake strongly preferred, or equivalent depth in BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
• Comfortable with joins, CTEs, and aggregation at scale
• Comfortable working in a documented, version-controlled environment
• Ability to connect insights to stakeholder needs
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings and gathering feedback across teams
• Familiarity with Snowflake stored procedures, semantic views, Cortex Analyst, or Snowsight is desirable
• Experience with Heap, ContentSquare, Amplitude, or Google Analytics is desirable
• Experience with event-level product usage data, including sessionization, clickstream, funnels, feature adoption, or journey analysis is desirable
• Exposure to AI-assisted analytics and evaluating LLM-generated SQL is desirable
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation is desirable
• Familiarity with customer experience or contact center analytics domains is desirable
