US Focused - Social Content Writer

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing media and technology business looking for someone who lives and breathes US sports and betting culture. You'll create standout sports and sports betting content for a following of millions across the United States.

The ideal candidate knows the NFL or NBA inside out, understands the betting landscape, has a proven marketing background and is a confident, everyday social media user. You'll run your own social betting brand, working alongside a well-known voice in the US betting space, and always look for fresh ways to lead the market on audience engagement and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow a loyal community: Create high-quality content that resonates with your audience, and engage with followers every day.
• Promote sportsbook offers: Choose relevant bookmaker promotions and present them through creative, effective campaigns.
• Plan strategically: Read the mood of your account daily and shape your content and betting plans around it.
• Get the most from each platform: Use every available feature to work with the algorithms, boost brand visibility and present content at its best.
• Share ideas: Join relaxed weekly catch-ups with fellow brand leads and management to compare results and brainstorm.

About You

• Genuine passion for sports and sports betting
• Strong knowledge of the NFL or NBA
• Experience using Canva
• Solid social media marketing experience, particularly on TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat
• Regular social media user with a good grasp of how the platforms and their features work
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Driven to be the best in the industry
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work US hours
