The Hospital: East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC offers an 80-bed regional referral centre serving approximately 82,000 people in the East Kootenay area. The hospital provides 24 hour emergency and trauma services with 16 dedicated beds and a 6 bed ICU. The high-acuity response team (HART) delivers mobile critical care for rural patients requiring advanced support to stabilize and transfer to higher-level care. The four floor facility includes a level 3 laboratory with a recently purchased PCR machine and MALDI/TOF, a new MRI suite with MRI and SPECT CT machines, and a CT scanner slated for purchase. Planned projects include a new NICU, emergency department triage renovations, and new oncology and renal departments. The hospital offers internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, pathology, psychiatry, pediatrics, anesthesia, radiology, urology, and family practice inpatient care, providing a broad platform to showcase expertise. East Kootenay Regional Hospital is looking for a Urologist. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. The candidate we seek will be competent with full scope of general urologic practice.
