With a reputation for delivering innovative and commercially successful designs, the team works closely with national housebuilders and developers to create sustainable and vibrant communities.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Urban Designer to join a growing team in London. This role has become available due to an influx of new projects, and we are ideally seeking a candidate who can start immediately. However, we are open to considering professionals with a notice period.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with architects, planners, and developers to deliver high-quality urban design solutions.
2. Develop masterplans, feasibility studies, and design strategies for residential and mixed-use projects.
3. Produce high-quality design documents, reports, and presentations.
4. Engage with stakeholders, including clients and local authorities, to ensure projects align with planning policies and community needs.
5. Contribute to design workshops and team discussions, offering innovative ideas and solutions.

Key Requirements

1. Minimum 2+ years of UK-based experience in an architectural practice, focusing on residential/mixed-use projects for national housebuilders or housing developers.
2. A recognised Urban Design qualification.
3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong hand-drawing ability.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
6. Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and/or SketchUp rendering/visualisation packages.
