Upholsterer

FERG Pty Ltd (Rodeo Saddle Shop), retailers and manufacturers of Leather and Western Wear, are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join their friendly team in Cloncurry, Qld.

• Heavy industrial sewing experience
• Experience working with various types of fabrics including leather and canvas
• Sound industrial sewing knowledge
• Proficiency with upholstery tools, including hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment
• Knowledge of different fabrics, padding materials, and techniques
• Ability to repair or replace damaged upholstery
• Ability to assess items to determine the nature of upholstery required
• Ability to follow clear instructions
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to manipulate & manoeuvre heavy fabric & leather
• Reliability and punctuality
• Quality focus
• Strong attention to detail for precise measurements and a high-quality finish
• Capability to work unsupervised
• Capability to meet deadlines

Salary: Between $75,000 and $80,000 plus superannuation
