Job Description
HESAV is an engaged, innovative institution focused on the future. Our mission is to place humans at the center of health. Starting in September, HESAV will move to the Health Campus, near the university city south of Lausanne. It will also welcome a new program: occupational therapy, currently at HETSL. In this context, the commitments related to this program will be integrated into HESAV starting January. We are looking for a Lecturer HES for the occupational therapy program.MISSIONS: For the occupational therapy program, you will design and deliver teaching for the preparatory year and Bachelor level while participating in the development, management, and activities related to the program together with the program heads and colleagues. Moreover, you will collaborate in student supervision, development with professional environments, and the creation of courses with other health programs. You will conduct follow-ups while assuming module responsibilities by guiding students and directing projects. You will also provide service, contribute to research and development projects, and support the transfer of knowledge.REQUIREMENTS: You hold a Master's degree in a relevant discipline for occupational therapy (in health sciences, etc.). Your area of expertise relates to elderly people, aging, dementia, sustainable group occupational therapy in the community, respect for the environment, or technologies serving health. You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in occupational therapy; teaching experience in a university would be an additional asset. Furthermore, you benefit from pedagogical skills or are willing to acquire them; a commitment to interprofessionalism and learning through concrete experiences could be a plus. You have a good command of English; knowledge of German is an additional asset. You have a good understanding of occupational therapy and health sciences, complemented by a good aptitude for using tools.
