Recruiting for an UnderwritingOperations Manager (12 months FTC) on behalf of a highly regarded Lloyd'sSyndicate.

The successfulcandidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the analysts within theUnderwriting Management team and be responsible for delivering progress foreach of the pillars within the team: Performance Management, Governance &Controls and Insights & Analytics.

KeyResponsibilities

• Overseeing production of allinternal and external reporting, ensuring that all regulatory returns arecompleted in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensuring that all policydocumentation and underwriting controls remain relevant and effective,reacting to changing regulations and emerging threats to ensurecompliance.
• Ownership of the Year EndAudit and proactively engaging with auditors to resolve outstandingqueries.
• Managing analysts within theUnderwriting Management team.
• Driving continuousimprovements to processes, and supporting wider projects to enhanceUnderwriting capabilities and reporting.
  

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant Lloyd'sMarket experience.
• Experience with Power BI orsimilar visualisation tools and familiarity with SQL.
• Excellent communicationskills with the ability to build rapport and engage with a range ofstakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organisational andtime management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects andwork-streams simultaneously.
