TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic SEND school based in Chelmsford, supporting children and young people aged 3 to 19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where positive relationships, wellbeing and personalised learning are at the heart of everything they do.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Tutor on a short-term basis starting in September. The successful SEMH Tutor will deliver engaging, tailored learning sessions while supporting students' academic, social and emotional development, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals.

The successful SEMH Tutor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
• Experience delivering lessons or interventions in an educational or alternative provision setting
• Strong behaviour management and relationship building skills
• The ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
