Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Maths, English or Science)

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will work directly with students to deliver lessons designed around their individual learning needs. You will help students build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

Location: Tutoring may take place in person at learners' homes, schools, or local libraries in Corby, depending on the learner's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to each student's needs
• Support students with Maths, English, or Science (GCSE level)
• Identify areas for improvement and develop personalised lesson plans
• Encourage confidence, motivation, and effective study habits
• Provide feedback on student progress when required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience in the UK
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them succeed
