Trusts Administrator (York, up to £35,000 DOE)

2+ Years' Relevant Experience (PQE required).

We are seeking a Trusts Administrator to join a highly regarded tax & trusts team within a leading regional law firm.

THE ROLE

As a Trusts Administrator, you will support a busy department advising on trusts, estate planning, wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney. Your responsibilities include preparing trust, estate and income tax returns; managing trust registration service (TRS) submissions; maintaining trust accounts; completing R185 and IHT100 forms; and providing administrative support across a broad range of tax and trust matters. This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise within a collaborative and supportive team, with part time work considered.

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for an experienced Trusts Administrator with strong knowledge of trust administration and taxation. You should have experience preparing trust, estate and income tax returns, managing TRS requirements, preparing trust accounts, and completing R185 and IHT100 forms. A sound knowledge of personal tax, trust taxation and capital gains tax is essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy and supportive team. You will be proactive, self motivated and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
