Trust Doctor in Clinical Simulation

The successful applicant is an integral role within supporting the delivery of Foundation doctors simulation programme; in accordance with the foundation programme curriculum. This incorporates the organisation and implementation of delivery and review of the sessions. Delivery of other programmes and sessions will also be required, as discussed and agreed.

Main duties of the job

• Support core human factors and simulation education for foundation doctors.
• Organise and implement delivery and review of simulation sessions in accordance with the foundation programme curriculum.
• Deliver additional programmes and sessions as directed.
• Work closely with the Human Factors and Simulation Fellow to deliver a robust and appropriate service.

Qualifications

• Trainees at registrar level or undertaking clinical commitments; or standalone without clinical duties.
• Interest in medical education and clinical leadership.
• Ability to work part time (Monday & Tuesday, 08:00-16:00).
• Fixed term contract until 31 August 2026.

Salary

£52,656 to £65,048 a year pro rata
