We are a registered charity (No. ) dedicated to promoting the education of our members and the public on all matters related to historic designed landscapes in Hertfordshire.We research parks and gardens to build comprehensive records for use at county and national level and offer advice on planning to owners, local authorities and the public. We organise study days and courses, walks and talks.The Treasurer plays a vital role in overseeing the financial management and integrity of the Charity.The Treasurer will work with all members of the team to maintain transparency, accountability and financial sustainability, ensuring proper financial records are kept and that effective financial procedures and controls are in place and submitting the annual returns.You will attend regular meetings between 6 and 8 times a year and the AGM, to present regular financial reports summarising the financial position and performance of the Charity. It is expected that the work will take approximately 2-3 hours per week, but this may vary dependent on workload at the time.
