Treasurer and Management Committee member

The Treasurer is an officer of the organisation and a member of the Management Committee responsible for the sustainable financial viability of the business and for ensuring that the organisation meets all of its financial related legal requirements. Key member of the Management Committee which has a collective responsibility for the organisation's financial sustainability.

The Treasurer acts as an information and reference point for the Chair and other committee members; clarifying financial implications of proposals; confirming financial legal requirements; outlining the current financial status; and retrieving relevant documentation. The Treasurer is supported by a book-keeper.
