Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a UK leading manufacturer in Mirfield who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planning Supervisor to join their team.

Hours of work / Benefits

• 7:30am - 4pm (Monday to Friday)
• 25 days holiday + Bank + the option to buy/sell holidays
• Death in service (2 x salary)

The Role

As the Transport Planning Supervisor, you will take responsibility for day to day planning, coordination and delivery performance across the fleet. Key tasks include:

• Developing and improving daily and weekly delivery plans
• Allocating vehicles and resources to achieve maximum utilisation
• Planning multi drop routes and maintaining efficient transit times
• Working closely with warehouse and distribution teams to support order fulfilment
• Identifying issues, preventing disruption and resolving transport bottlenecks
• Monitoring costs and helping reduce spend without affecting service
• Maintaining compliance with transport regulations and internal policies
• Using transport systems, route planning tools and data reporting dashboards
• Tracking live deliveries and sharing updates with stakeholders

The Person

• Previous experience within a transport planning role
• Confident use of transport management systems and route planning tools
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and effective negotiation skills
• Awareness of transport rules and compliance expectations
