Transport Planner (4 on 4 off)

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Transport Plannerfor a major company that specialises in Logistics.

This is a Full-time position. 4 on 4 off Night Shift role.

Permanent position - Position of work is Dungannon

Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 + Fantastic Benefits package & Growth Opportunities

• Planning and coordinating transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods
• Monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time deliveries
• Collaborating with drivers, programmers and customers, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Maximise asset utilisation whilst adhering to appropriate legal/regulatory requirements
• Resolving any transportation issues or delays that may arise
• Maintaining accurate records of transportation activities

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Minimum of 2 years Transport Planning Experience
• Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
• Good written and oral communication skills
