Transport Planner

Transport Planner - Clonshaugh (Sunday - Thursday shift pattern, 40 hours per week - 07:00 to 15:00 or 09:00 to 17:00)

Key Responsibilities

Work with customers to meet current and anticipated requirements to enable the site to achieve service expectations. Address customer concerns immediately and upscale where appropriate in a timely manner. Manage transport resources in line with operational and budgetary requirements, including shift rota management to maintain service levels. Plan and manage operational resources to optimise the utilisation of labour and equipment for forecasted volumes. Ensure effective communication links between colleagues and other shifts to maintain operational consistency, drive high standards, and flag opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a multi customer centric operation and planning operational resources. In depth knowledge of drivers' rules, regulations and WTD, and hold a national/international CPC.
