As a Transport Coordinator you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S foods.

Our operation in Hemel Hempstead are looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 40.25 hours per week, between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00.

What will you do & what will you need

As part of your role you will brief and debrief Drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to the team. Be accountable for licence compliance and for operational excellence including cost and service, peak planning/delivery. Provide the highest level of customer care and finding resolutions/escalation of live issues. Monitor all routes ensuring they run on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate. Manage time efficiently using Kronos exceptions & schedules. Conduct daily administration tasks related to payroll systems, payroll queries, holidays etc.

Ideally you will have experience of administration in a busy transport environment, be proficient in PC with word and excel experience and have great attention to detail.
