Job Title: Transport Administrator

Location: Farnborough, GU14 6JF

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm Monday to Friday; flexibility required to work outside these hours and cover other shifts to suit business needs.

About the role

Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up to date transport documentation
• Compile daily reports and KPIs
• Deal with customer queries and close in SAP system
• Support and cover for holiday and sickness within the Administration Team
• Communicate across the network via email and phone
• Liaise with maintenance providers and maintain service schedule
• Liaise with suppliers and work with the wider team to raise necessary purchase orders
• Complete end of shift tasks including coordinating future day activities and task management
• Raise and manage purchase orders

Experience and Key Attributes

• A first class communicator, comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, further experience using SAP and EPOD systems desirable
• Happy to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Able to prioritise workload and manage deadlines effectively
• Previous experience in logistics desirable but not required
