Salary:£69,105 - £81,406 + 24/7 shift allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
The Transmission Liaison Engineer is responsible for managing technical and system requirements, safety protocols, and operational readiness to manage the safe and secure operation of the transmission network in real time.
You will
- Provide Real Time System (RTS) management to support the Great Britain (GB) System Operation.
- Conduct system risk analysis, assessment and reporting.
- Ensure system fault response and coordination to provide a quick resolution.
- Co-ordinate any Control Room outage switching and system safety activities whilst ensuring accurate outage and safety document management.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement to drive successful delivery of the Transmission outage plan.
This role includes a working pattern covering all hours (24/7) and includes a shift allowance.
You have
- A minimum of degree level qualification in electrical engineering or have extensive relevant industry knowledge and experience.
- A relevant background in electrical power system operation with current or previous Control Engineer/Senior Authorised Person authorisation
- Strong communication skills and demonstratable stakeholder engagement skills.
- The desire to share knowledge and develop skills as part of a team.
- A flexible, self-driven and proactive approach to achieving positive results.
