Position Title: Translator

Location: The Hague, NL

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled Dutch Translator to support our translation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for translating various types of content from English or other source languages into Dutch, ensuring linguistic accuracy, stylistic consistency, and clarity of message.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate diverse texts from English or other source languages into Dutch.

Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and stylistic consistency.

Follow specific guidelines and requirements provided for each project.

Maintain a consistent tone, style, and terminology across translations.

Use translation memory (TM) tools and other language software as applicable.

Collaborate with internal teams to clarify content and context where needed.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Language Proficiency: Native-level Dutch and fluent English.

Strong understanding of Dutch grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic usage.

Familiarity with translation memory software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).

Meticulous attention to detail and strong quality control mindset.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
