An excellent opportunity for an experienced business savvy leader to oversee the operations of a successful packaging manufacturer with an enviable reputation for advising and helping customers achieve the best possible packaging to protect their products.

We are looking for a hands on Operations Manager or Commercial Manager with experience in a transit packaging production environment and who is equally comfortable with managing teams (production, design, and sales) and interfacing with key clients.

The objective of this role is to implement the right processes and practices across the organisation, with a particular focus on the production team and taking responsibility for Quality and Health & Safety. You will be experienced in achieving strategic growth in a low volume, short lead time manufacturing organisation and be proficient in leading change, problem solving and continuous improvement. Other key requirements for this role include an interest in people development; the ability to develop cross functional teams; a good listener who can absorb information from several quarters and deliver valued progression.

You will be a strategic planner committed to building upon and delivering the owner's culture and values and willing to roll up your sleeves if things get tough.
