Transactional Management Support Officer x 2

Shropshire Council's Transactional Management Service is responsible for processing approximately 10,000 Blue Badge applications, 1,000 Parking Permits and for reviewing over 5,000 challenges and appeals against Penalty Charge Notices issued per year. The post is a support role working in a highly demand led environment.

The post holder will proactively engage with members of the public, businesses, trade representatives and enforcement agents for the purposes of protecting the safety and welfare of the public who live, work and visit Shropshire.

The Transactional Management Team supports the protection of children, young persons and adults with care and support needs, working with professionals across Children and Adult Services and with external partners. The Business and Consumer Protection Service works directly alongside Regulatory Services and together they are key services within the Council.

An understanding of and commitment to customer care and safety is essential, you must be willing to work co-operatively with others as you will be joining a team working environment. In return, you will be offered training, flexible hours and a positive working environment.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a keen eye for detail and isn't afraid to ask questions to help us deliver an outstanding Blue Badge, Parking Permits and Notice Processing Service in Shropshire.
