Transactional Construction Legal Director - Partnership Route Available
Posted 19 hours 42 minutes ago by QED Legal LLP
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced transactional construction solicitor (6+ PQE) to join a high-performing and well-supported team based in Leeds.
This senior-level role offers the chance to advise on some of the most significant real estate, infrastructure, and energy projects in the UK. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, contractors, funders, and public sector clients, advising on a broad range of construction documents, including JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts, as well as bespoke agreements, collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees.
The position involves close collaboration with colleagues across real estate, banking, and corporate teams to provide specialist construction input on complex, high-value transactions. A solid understanding of procurement law, risk allocation, and the commercial realities of construction projects is essential.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded and pragmatic lawyer who enjoys delivering technically excellent work in a supportive and professionally rewarding environment. You'll be part of a team that genuinely prioritises quality over quantity, offering:
- Realistic billing targets to enable consistent high standards
- Investment in team growth to maintain manageable caseloads
- Strong administrative and paralegal support to allow focus on legal work
- Flexibility in working arrangements to support individual needs
