Tralee Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic 2026

We are now accepting applications for Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for Bus Éireann Tralee Depot with placements starting in September 2026.

To ensure your application is processed, you must submit proof of meeting the SOLAS Equivalence Qualifications at the time of application.

Please note that applications missing educational documentation cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you will receive top-tier technical training to maintain and repair modern public service vehicles. You will gain hands on experience in day to day repairs, preventative maintenance, and advanced vehicle diagnostics. The apprenticeship consists of seven phases: three off the job training phases designated by SOLAS and four on the job training phases with Bus Éireann.

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age
• Applicants must provide proof of SOLAS equivalence qualifications at the time of application
